Thank you for checking out the "Hangslot Wizard".

The intended purpose of this wizard is to cut keyhole slots for hanging plaques, picture frames, signs, etc.
It requires the use of a keyhole bit that, for example, has a large diameter of 0.375" for the entry hole and a small diameter of 0.1875" for the slot.

As with wizards in general, click on the DRO, type in a value and hit enter. Click on the "Select" buttons to choose your slot location(s). When finished, click "Post Code" and the file will be generated. Upon exiting, the file will be ready to execute.

The ticker will warn of values that have not been entered and of selections that are not applicable and therefore will not be generated. Only the most common slot location(s) will be accepted.

The generated file will cut once, park some distance away and wait for the next part to be secured to the table. Then, after hitting "Cycle Start", it will cut the next one and so on until finished with the set quantity. The router/spindle will remain running until finished. On my setup, I have a remote "Cycle Start" button right at the gantry which allows for quick and easy repeating of each cut. Parts are quickly swapped out and locked in with a cam clamp that wedges the part into a right angle secured to the table.

Some of the values are set to default to what is set in the "init.m1s" file that is in the "Hanglsots" folder. These defaults can be edited if needed.

Place the "Hangslots" folder in the "Mach3\Addons" folder and after starting Mach3, launch it from the "Load Wizard" button.
